Practice Your English This Summer at Conversation Corner!

Metro Detroit ESL is excited to present Conversation Corner this summer! Join us every other Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for fun and the opportunity to practice your English skills with other students.

Conversation Corner takes place inside Metro Detroit Chinese Alliance Church, located at 31329 John R Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071.

Fall English Classes – Registration Opens This Summer!

Our free, in-person English classes will resume in the fall! Fall registration is scheduled for September 8th at 6:30 pm. All new students will take a placement test to help us find the best class level for you.

Join Us for Sunday Worship Service and Family Programs!

You and your family are warmly invited to Metro Detroit Chinese Alliance Church’s Sunday services. We offer worship services in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Programs for children and youth are also available.

Our Service and Group Schedule:

  • Cantonese Worship: Sundays at 9:30 am
  • Mandarin Worship: Sundays at 11:15 am
  • English International Worship: Sundays at 11:15 am
  • Children’s Sunday School (Toddler–5th Grade): Sundays at 11:15 am
  • Refresh Middle School Youth Group: Sundays at 11:15 am
  • Oasis High School Youth Group: (Saturdays at 6:00 pm)

More About Metro Detroit ESL (English as a Second Language)

ESL classes are free. Students need to purchase a textbook for $15. All English levels are welcome. The fall semester starts on Tuesday, September 8th with in-person registration for class placement.

Classes begin at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays and are held at 31329 John R Rd., Madison Heights. The entrance and parking are in the back of the building, and childcare is provided. Classes are presented by English International Ministries.

Metro Detroit ESL offers English courses in a classroom setting taught by experienced, compassionate instructors. Enjoy both textbook and interactive learning for all levels of English. This includes classes for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students from every culture.
