In-person Classes for English as a Second Language (ESL)

Our ESL classes are free. Students need to purchase a textbook for $15. All English levels are welcome. The current semester begins on February 3rd, 2026, and runs through May 19th, 2026. You are allowed to start after the first class.

Classes start at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays and are held at 31329 John R Rd., Madison Heights. The entrance and parking are in the back of the building, and childcare is provided. Classes are presented by English International Ministries.

Metro Detroit ESL offers English courses in a classroom setting from experienced and compassionate instructors. Enjoy both textbook and interactive learning for all levels of English. This includes beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes with students from every culture.
