Welcome to the English as a Second Language (ESL) Program in Madison Heights
On the first night of ESL class, all students take a placement test to determine the best class level for their needs. This is an exciting evening for students, tutors, and administrators alike. After finishing the placement test, refreshments are provided, and students have the chance to meet and greet their peers and faculty members. Once the social time concludes, each student is free to leave for the evening.

Our Proven ESL Program

ESL classes are held at the Chinese Alliance Church in Madison Heights, conveniently located at 31329 John R Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Each semester lasts about 16 weeks, giving you plenty of time to learn, practice, and grow. While you can join after the semester begins, we strongly recommend attending the first class to get the best start.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through lessons in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You’ll practice real-life conversations and learn important grammar and vocabulary. Classes are immersive and interactive, helping you gain the skills needed to thrive in English-speaking environments. You’ll also meet other learners and make new friends along the way!
